Mother of Olexandr Kolchenko, who is illegally detained in Russian Federation, visited her son in Chelyabinsk. The trip was made possible thanks to charitable project, which took place with the support of Ukrainian poet Serhiy Zhadan.

Yana Goncharova, the project’s coordinator, reported on Facebook.

She told that Olexandr is little by little studying to be a locksmith and will soon finish his learning. "He also studies English and reads a lot, particularly he read "The Lucifer Effect". He is going to organize prison library," she noted.

Human rights activist noted that Kolchenko receives letters, not without the problems — they should be constantly squeezed out from the operative department.

Goncharova also called on Foreign Ministry to pay attention to the fact that consul is still not allowed to visit Kolchenko.

As it was reported, Russia refused again to repatriate Ukrainians Oleg Sentsov and Olexandr Kolchenko to their motherland, claiming that they allegedly have Russian citizenship.
