The Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko proposed Mikheil Saakashvili to head the Udar Party and lead it to the parliamentary elections. Klitschko said this in a video message, published on his page on Facebook.
“Udar goes to snap parliamentary elections. And I invite our partners to go together. I remain the leader of the Udar Party, and I offer Mikheil Saakashvili to become the head of the party,” Klitschko said.
It is noteworthy that Saakashvili can be the head of the party, but according to the law, he cannot be a parliamentarian, since he has not lived in Ukraine recently.
As it was reported earlier, Mikheil Saakashvili has got his Ukrainian citizenship again by the decree of President Volodymyr Zelensky who reinstated his Ukrainian citizenship.
Mikheil Saakashvili returned to Ukraine, the plane with ex-President of Georgia and former Head of Odesa Region State Administration landed at Boryspil airport on May 29.
