“According to the results of the year, Vitali Klitschko, the Head of Kyiv City State Administration and Mayor of Kyiv, became the first in the rating. He got 88,5 points in total under 20 criterions,” the news agency noted and stressed that Klitschko won due to the achievements the capital accomplished during his ruling.
The authors of the rating outlined the fields, in which Kyiv was a leader among other cities in Ukraine. “It was obvious that the capital would win due to exports of goods, entry of foreign direct investments, utilized capital investments and accomplished construction works (per capita). Kyiv is among two regions with the largest total scale of dwellings accepted into service per a thousand of residents. Besides, the average monthly salary in Kyiv is the highest one (11,135 hryvnias),” the news agency reports.
It should be mentioned, that Delovaya Stolitsa summarized the development of regions in 2017. The journalists compared the indices of 23 peaceful regions under 20 socially significant criterions, referring to official data of Ukraine’s Statistics Service. Maksym Stepanov, Odesa region Governor, took the second place with 46,5 points, Gorgan Oleksandr having 46 points is on the third place.
