Pavlo Klimkin, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, called the OSCE PA for using the excising means and tools to make Russia refuse from aggressive and expansionist policy in Ukraine, as the website of the Foreign Ministry reports.
“Pavlo Klimkin acknowledged the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in the OSCE and expressed his gratitude to the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) George Tsereteli for his strong support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in face of the Russian military aggression in Donbas and illegal occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol,” the message says.
The Foreign Minister has also stressed that the restoration of peace on Ukraine’s land depends on Russia’s readiness to stop aggression against Ukraine. “George Tsereteli assured of the OSCE PA consistent support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and of Assembly’s readiness to further promote Ukrainian parliamentary initiatives,” the message says.
