Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry discussed the steps towards the acceleration of signing the Agreement on Free Trade Zone with Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Turkish Foreign Minister. The press-office of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry reported.
The sixth session of the strategic planning joint team was held within Klimkin’s visit to Turkey.
“The Foreign Ministers discussed further steps towards the acceleration of signing the Agreement on Free Trade Zone under mutual conditions for free trade,” the message says.
In the course of the session, the Ministers noted that the strategic dialogue between Ukraine and Turkey becomes a significant practical part due to the dynamic development of the cooperation in various economic fields, including the defense industry and air-cosmic sector.
The sides discussed the situation in Donbas conflict zone and in the annexed Crimea as well.
Besides, they focused on the combined efforts aimed at the protection of Crimean Tatar’s rights, who are suffering from occupational authorities in Crimea.
Earlier, it was reported that Klimkin was in Turkey with an official visit.
