Nazar Kholodnytsky, the Head of Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine (SAPO) claimed that he is not familiar with the claim filed by the Prosecutor General’s Office (GPU) and National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) against him to the disciplinary commission. However, he will insist on the public consideration of the case and publishing of all materials as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.
‘When I familiarize with the claim filed against me I will certainly insist on the public consideration of this proceeding. The only thing that I would like to see and my prosecutors are the sufficient evidence base. I as the head of the prosecutor’s office always did my best and will do to act only within the law and demand the proviso of the full evidence from the prosecution. I will defend my position. I will prove that the SAP is the effective body that can provide the law and control, including the control over the NABU agents. I am sure in my actions. At Qualification Disciplinary Commission for Prosecutors, I will prove every showed word but not the cuts of the talks, not taking words out of the context but the entire talk and further actions that followed it’, Kholodnytsky claimed.
Also, Kholodnytsky promised to publish the wiretaps from the wires installed in his cabinet.
‘I know that you will not hear any fact of the extorting bribes by me, dropping off the suitcases with money to the cabinets or the offers to do this. I am sure that there will be no such fact. We will publish the content of the tapes. Possibly, there will be profane communication, including the talks with the subordinates, but, excuse me; it is hard to clean our dirty bog of corruption with white gloves. I can swear. We have such works and you will never hear me swearing in a public’, Kholodnytsky claimed.
Earlier, the General Prosecutor’s Office and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau sent a complaint against Nazar Kholodnytsky, the Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, to the Disciplinary Commission.
