Three Ukrainian cities - Kharkiv, Kyiv and Lviv entered into top 10 criminal cities of Eastern Europe, according to Numbeo. This rating was published on the official site of the resource.
Kharkiv is on the second position of the rating with criminal index of 50,91, Kyiv is on the third place - 49,89 and Lviv is on nineth with index 40,87.
A city with the highest criminal index In the Eastern Europe is Yekaterinburg, Russia, index - 51,20.
It is notable that according to the information of this same site Kharkiv is placed 14th in whole Europe rating, Kyiv – 17th, Lviv – 45th. The rating is based on the results of Numbeo site visitors’ polls. Questions are about safety on the streets at daytime and at night, risk of house breaking, car stealing, attacks on the streets etc. The most criminal cities of Europe are Lund (Sweden), Naples (Italy) and Marseille (France).
The formula of the rating is introduced on the site. Criminal index lower than 20 is considered very low, 20 – 40 - low, 40 - 60- moderate, 60 - 80-high, more than 80 - very high.
Eralier it was reported that Ukraine rises to 80th position in Doing Business 2017 rating. Last year, the country was placed 83rd in the business agency’s annual rating.
