The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov stated that Kharkiv and Khmelnytsky regions could get into the "red" quarantine zone. He said this on the air of Ukraine 24 TV channel.
“I think Kharkiv and Khmelnytsky can probably end up in the "red" quarantine zone, but the Ministry of Healthcare is actively working with local health authorities and the local administration. I analyze public data, look at the level of hospitalizations, the number of oxygen beds, the number of new patients. I think these two regions need to pay attention to their indicators,” he said.
He also said that the issue of the imposition of a national lockdown is not being discussed.
It should be noted that the situation with coronavirus in Ukraine is becoming more complicated every day, there are data on new anti-records for deaths and hospitalizations. Lockdown and restrictions of the "red" level of epidemiological danger are not introduced in all regions, although the "third" wave of coronavirus was more severe than the previous ones.
As we reported, Ukrainian doctors detected 10,179 new cases of infection with coronavirus; 254 people passed away.
