Pechersk district court of Kyiv arrested extradited former chairman of Ukraine’s State Agency for Investment and National Project Vladyslav Kaskiv for two months as the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor General Larysa Sargan reported at Facebook.
She added that the defense of Kaskiv provided the court with the official document on the full compensation of the damage inflicted to the state. The court determined to arrest him for two months or to post the bail talking into account the document and that Kaskiv is a father of five underage children. The sum of the bail was not specified.
‘The court obliged Kaskiv to surrender all foreign passports and come to the investigator on the first request and report on his location. The pretrial investigation continues’, Sargan wrote.
Sargan reported to 112 Ukraine that Kaskiv is released from the court room but if he does not post the bail in the sum of almost 6 000 dollars he will be arrested again.
Earlier we reported that Vladyslav Kaskiv, the former chairman of Ukraine’s State Agency for Investment and National Projects, has been extradited to Ukraine from Panama.
Kaskiv was detained in Panama on August 18. He was stopped at the border with Costa Rica as he was banned from entry to this country on August 17, 2016. Also, he requested for a political asylum in Panama.
Kaskiv is incriminated the embezzlement of the property of another by the abuse of the official position by the previous concert of the group of people that led to the harsh consequences. Also, he is suspected in the forging of the documents.
