The Ministry of Justice appealed to Yury Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General due to the searches held by the agents of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau in the ministry. The searches are treated as the pressure. Natalia Bernatska, the First Deputy Minister of Justice claimed this at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.
'This search was held without the court decision. It is a total lawlessness that we have not seen since the 90-s. The search was held without an advocate, without audio- or video-recording that should be exerted to the charge sheet of the search. We do not know which documents were stolen from the Ministry of Justice, fabricated or planted', Bernatska claimed.
She promised the proper response of the ministry.
'The Ministry of Justice always acts within the law and cooperates with the law enforcement services in all cases', she said.
'We appeal to the Prosecutor General with the application on the crime that was committed by the agents of the NABU today in the Justice Ministry', the official claimed.
The ministry thinks that the search can be connected with the possible opening of the criminal proceeding on the fulfillment of the ECHR decisions.
'We think that they can remove the illegal bugging that was earlier installed. It is not the first case when we find some sign of the bugs in the ministry', Bernatska said.
Earlier, the NABU agents got the court decision on the access to the documents of the ministry as she reported.
Moreover, the searches were held at the home of the worker of the ministry, the head of the Secretariat of Commissioner of ECHR cases.
According to Bernatska, the Justice Ministry will send an application to the Prosecutor General's Office and appeal to the ambassadors of G7 and Justice Ministry of the US due to the actions of the NABU.
