Journalists of the newly created first independent TV channel have united to create Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent) - a TV channel that will inform viewers about what is happening in the country.
The journalists and TV presenters Rostyslav Sukhachov, Diana Panchenko, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Pavlo Kuzheev, Nadia Sass, Andriy Lashch and Vasyl Apasov stated this.
Journalists of three illegally closed TV channels noted that they decided to unite in order to be able to do their job well again, and tell the truth to the people and inform Ukraine and the world about what is happening in our country.
"We stand for a free and truly independent Ukraine. And freedom of speech is a guarantee of democratic values in a European country," Sukhachov said.
He stressed that the journalists of the first independent TV channel in Ukraine are ready to invite on air representatives of any political party and give the floor to representatives of any political force.
In her turn, Diana Panchenko noted that the closure of three leading news channels was a great injustice on the part of the president, but it made all journalists stronger.
"We will do what we have always been doing - tell people the truth about tariffs, vaccines that are just non-existent, the truth about the terrible poverty that has not ended, about injustice. And this is what we will do on Pershiy Nezalezhniy TV channel," the TV presenter said.
Journalists have become victims of arbitrariness and complete neglect of human rights and a free press, Pikhovshek said. He stated that the new TV channel would not depend on anyone at all - neither on Zelensky, nor on the oligarchs, be free from lies and arbitrariness.
"We hope that in the new round of history, the government will finally gain common sense, and we will not be shut down and will be allowed to work freely and tell the truth. Meet Pershiy Nezalezhniy. We are preparing a great number of completely new formats that have no analogues on Ukrainian television," Pikhovshek said.
Another TV presenter, Pavlo Kuzheev, noted that journalists of three closed TV channels reserve the right to their profession and strive to continue to fulfill their main duty - to inform Ukraine and the world about how our country is living and what is happening in the international arena.
Journalist Nadia Sass also reminded that the audience of the three TV channels amounted to about 7 million viewers. According to her, the team of the new TV channel is currently considering new formats that will be able to surprise viewers. Along with this, of course, the old TV programs that Ukrainians are so fond of will not disappear from the screen.
Vasyl Apasov noted that the journalists of the three channels did not waste time, and soon the viewers will be able to see them on the air again and learn about all the news in Ukraine.
"Tariffs and other problems did not disappear anywhere. And we will tell you all about it," he added.
Soon, the viewers will be able to watch the channel on TV screens, and not only on YouTube. Webcast of the TV channel is available on the website pnk.tv.
The new TV channel will broadcast on ASTRA-4A satellite, 5°E. It can also be found on the largest cable networks of the service providers Volia, Triolan and other operators. The faces of Pershiy Nezalezhniy will be all the figures that are iconic and familiar to the viewer of the TV channels closed by Zelensky. The list includes Diana Panchenko, Pavlo Kuzheev, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Vasyl Apasov, Yuriy Bibik, Andriy Lashch, Rostyslav Sukhachov and others.
