Stepan Poltorak, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine claimed that the anti-tank missile systems Javelin will be supplied to Ukraine in 2018 as 112 Ukraine reported.

'I want to tell precisely that we will get Javelins in time. Definitely this year', he said.

The minister also spoke on the results of the meeting with James Mattis, the U.S. Secretary of Defense.

'We discussed a lot of issues, almost all topics that worried me and I got the answers for all questions. There is a clear understanding how and when the things will take place. We discussed everything. We also discussed our further cooperation, cooperation with Alliance, our bilateral commitments and finish of the work out of the agreements between the US and Ukraine', he added.

According to the information of ABC from its sources in the White House, US President Donald Trump is to announce his approval of a plan to sell anti-tank missiles to Ukraine. This plan is to include the anti-tank Javelin systems. The defense package of $47 million envisages selling 210 anti-tank missiles and 35 launching systems to them.
