The government of Japan started working out the issue of visas cancellation for Ukrainians. This was announced in Facebook by the Ukraine’s MP Leonid Yemets after his visit to the country.
"The Cabinet of Ministers of Japan has begun to work on the issue of abolishing visas for Ukrainians, and the parliaments promised to help in every way. It is too early to speak about the terms, but we are working so that the Ukrainian citizens can go without visas for the Olympic Games in Tokyo (2020)," he wrote.
