Ukraine and Turkey should finalize free-trade zone negotiations. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said this during the briefing on Wednesday, which was broadcasted by the press service of the Ukrainian President’s Office on its Facebook page.

“On the face-to-face meeting, we considered all the Ukrainian-Turkish relations’ aspects. We reviewed the steps that we should take  on the way of development of our trade and economic cooperation. And finally it is time to finalize the negotiating process about free trade agreement, lasting for a very long time,” Erdogan said.

According to him, the volume of trade between the states made $4,000,000,000 as of 2018.

“We got a new purpose, and it is ten billion dollars. Can Ukraine and Turkey reach this sum? In my view, yes, we can, and Mr. President completely agrees with me,” the President of Turkey said.
