Investigative measures into the case of former Odesa governor Mikheil Saakashvili are over in a detention center. Larysa Sargan, a press secretary of the Prosecutor General reported that on her Facebook page.
“The investigative measures are over. For lawyers are now leaving the detention center. The detained Saakashvili is having rest now. The prosecutors are getting ready to apply to the court for home arrest restrain with wearing an ankle monitor,” she wrote.
As we reported earlier, on Friday night the enforcement officers detained ex-governor of Odesa region Mikheil Saakashvili and took him to the Security Service department, where he was placed in a detention facility.
