After Swiss oil trading company Proton Energy Group SA announced its withdrawal from the Ukrainian market, the supply of Rosneft products to Ukraine will be carried out by the international trader Coral Energy. This was reported by Enkorr with the reference to a source in Coral Energy.
Coral Energy is negotiating and consulting with current contract holders of Rosneft fuel in Ukraine.
100,000 tons per month of diesel fuel will be transported to Ukraine through the oil terminal in Gomel and about 15-20 thousand tons - by rail across the eastern border. In addition, supplies of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LNG) at about 40,000 tons per month will be fully preserved.
On March 15 it was reported that the Swiss oil trading company Proton Energy Group SA stops the delivery of oil products to Ukraine from April 1, 2021.
The company made such decision after receiving information from a member of the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine in early March 2021 that the Security Service of Ukraine strongly recommended that Ukrainian fuel market participants not cooperate with Proton Energy Group SA and refrain from buying petroleum products from the company.
Another reason for the cessation of supplies of petroleum products to Ukraine by Proton was the actions of the Ukrainian authorities against the network of Glusco gas stations owned by Glusco Energy SA and a member of the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine.
