On November 25, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the campaign ’16 days against violence’ has started in Ukraine. It will last until December 10, as the Interior Ministry of Ukraine reported.
The ministry noted that the proper campaign is held annually from November 25 until December 10. Its goal is to draw the attention of society, teach not to slur over the problem, and do not give up on people who need help.
“Remember, domestic violence will never be a private case. Let’s break this cycle together as the freedom from the violence is the inherent right of each person,” the message said.
Within the campaign, the Ministry of Education and Science recommended to organize and hold the lessons, lectures, webinars, roundtable discussions, and other events at the educational facilities, considering the terms of quarantine.
