International airport to be built in Bila Tserkva by 2020

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine intends to build an international airport with multi-modal infrastructure for passenger traffic and air transportation in Bila Tserkva by 2020. The information comes from the investment project of the ministry.

Among the possible sources of financing are the funds of the city, regional, and state budgets, private investors, concessional loans, grants of international finance organizations.

Moreover, a $13 million euro reconstruction of Vinnytsia airport is planned, which will increase its capacity to 6 million passengers a year as well as increase the number of flights by 5,6 times. A new runway and a passenger terminal complex are to be built in Odesa airport for 54,46 million euro. A runway at Kherson airport is to be renovated for 26 million euro. The airfield is to be reconstructed and a passenger terminal to be built in Sumy Airport for 25 million euro6 while a passenger terminal and service facilities will be built in Zaporizhia International Airport for 23 million euro.
