Ex-State Duma MP Denis Voronenkov was killed by Ukraine’s citizen Parshov Pavlo Oleksandrovych of 1988 year of birth. He was born in Sevastopol, Crimea and was scouted by Russian special services. His was reported by the advisor of the Internal Minister, people’s deputy Anton Herashchenko on his page in Facebook.
“Pavlo Parshov never left Ukraine officially. But in February 2015 he crossed Ukraine’s border with Belarus by foot. He has taken special training for saboteurs in Russia before returning to Ukraine. Such school was created during Stalin’s NKVD. He was tasked to infiltrate Ukraine’s Armed Forces and National Guard units and pretend to be an ordinary soldier. A strong and healthy young man, Ukrainian, he successfully performed tasks for Russian special forces and served for a year in one of the units of the National Guard. He did not participate in military operations. He resigned in August, 2016. After that he waited for Moscow’s order to act, he said.”
And such order was given, according to Herashchenko.
“Yesterday he was ordered and today he performed the command, taking Denis Voronenkov with him to grave,” he noted.
Now, the circumstances of preparation and organization of the murder of the former State Dima’s MP are being investigated.
“During the hours that passed since the moment of murder, we already know a lot. Also, the criteria on accepting people to the Armed Forces, National Guard of Ukraine and other security forces have to be strictly revised, considering Russia’s special forces activity,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that Voronenkov's killer is citizen of Ukraine. The killer died in the hospital in Kyiv. He got two wounds in the chest and one shot in the head.
Two men were shot dead in Kyiv downtown, at the intersection of Pushkinska and Shevchenko streets near the hotel ‘Premier Palace’: Voronenkov and his bodyguard.
Law enforcers say it’s a contract murder. “This is the first version we consider, knowing who the victim is and his activity and the way a crime was committed.”
