The employees of the Interior Ministry detained over 30 people who prevented the filming and attacked the production unit of 112 Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as 112 Ukraine reported citing Deputy Head of the National Police in Kharkiv region Oksana Kalmykova.
“I am at the site right now. Two local detachments of police, Zolochiv, and Derhachiv, arrived there. Now 30 people who were the partakers of this conflict situation were detained by the police officers and transferred to the local police department to establish all circumstances. Now we will identify them but preliminary they are the workers of this enterprise. We will figure out the situation to qualify the incident on Criminal or Administrative Code. Preliminary, the qualification hooliganism is planned. Possibly, the additional qualification on preventing of legal professional activity may appear,” the message said.
According to 112 Ukraine journalist Oleg Reshetnyak, the unknown forced the production unit to delete the footage before the arrival of the police.
Earlier police of Kharkiv region put the data on the on preventing of the professional activity of the journalists to the United pretrial investigation register.
The unknown thugs attacked the production unit of 112 Ukraine TV channel; the team was filming a story about illegal production of lumber. The car of the unit was blocked and the wheels got flat. Journalist Oleg Reshetnyak was beaten; the ambulance was called.
