Inflation in Ukraine increases by 1,1%, - State Statistics Service

The consumer prices increased by 1,1% in March 2018, as Ukraine’s Statistics Service reported.

The food prices and soft drinks raised by 1,1% in March, prices for clothes and shoes – by 9,6%, for housing and utility services – by 0,3%, the prices for the medical services increased by 0,8%, for education – by 0,2%.

The consumer prices increased by 13,2% compared to March of 2017.

The inflation index was 3,5% in January-March.

Earlier, the inflation on the consumer market was 0,9% in February compared with the previous year and it was 2,4% from the beginning of the year.
