Ukrainian infectious disease specialist Olha Holubovska supposes that the situation with coronavirus in the country will improve closer to March. However, the growth of the number of infected will be observed in Ukraine until the spring as Holubovska stated during the briefing of the Health Ministry.

“In the next few months, we expect the growth of incidence. Closer to March, possibly earlier (nobody knows it), possibly, the situation will improve,” Holubovska noted.

The infectious disease specialist noted that the coronavirus is quite a long disease and the patients who got through the infection might stay on medical leave up to a month.

As we reported, Olha Holubovska told how coronavirus infection develops in the human body.

As of October 22, 322,879 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine. 7,053 cases were observed over the last 24 hours. A total of 6,043 people (+116 per day) died in the country as a result of complications caused by coronavirus disease, but 134,898 (+2,679) patients have already managed to recover. The number of active cases of Covid-19 is 184,733.
