The indictments on five cases on explosions on ammo depot were not served due to the need to conduct long expert reports, as Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko said at the morning plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

Konstantyn Pavlon, the representative of the Opposition Block, asked whether someone was prosecuted for five cases of explosions at ammo depot.

“Respective proceedings on all the emergencies on the warehouse were opened… All these cases require very detailed expert reviews, which, unfortunately, take more than a year for each case. Moreover, there are plenty of them – as a rule, around ten for each case. So, for now the indictments has not been served,” Lutsenko said.

According to him, the main link in each investigation is diversion.

Reportedly, on October 9, a fire occurred on ammo depot in Ichnia, Chernihiv region. 12,000 residents of the settlements nearby were evacuated then.
