In Berezne village of Mensk district the whirlwind that came to Chernihiv region lifted in the air two children of 2004 and 2008 year of birth after what they hit the ground. This was reported by Ukrinform agency with the reference to Berezne village head Olha Romanchenko.

“It happened on the outskirts of the village. A strong wind or a whirlwind raised two children of 2004 and 2008 years of birth in the air and threw them to the ground. They were provided with medical assistance (children have bruises) and now they are already at home.

In addition, a strong wind in Berezne tore down the roofs of many residential and utility buildings, and the hail damaged vegetables.

As it was reported earlier 17 people suffered from bad weather in Ukraine, 745 towns were left without electricity. 260 houses’ roofs, 11 outbuildings, and 8 schools were damaged.
