The Ukrainian court has arrested 12 planes of the Russian airline that carried passengers from and to closed Simferopol-air checkpoint, as well as four vessels that entered closed ports and terminals of the occupied Crimean peninsula as the Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported.
“The violation of the rules of the international flights and navigation in the territory of the occupied peninsula: the arrest laid on 12 planes and four vessels-trespassers,” the message says.
The law enforcers established that the Russian airline illegally used 12 passenger Boeing and Embraer planes for illicit transfer of citizens through the state border of Ukraine. It is also established that at least 37 Russian air companies hold regular flights to Crimea in violation of the legislation.
