Ihor Petrashko has become the new Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture. 243 MPs supported proper decision #3226 as 112 Ukraine reported.

“To appoint Ihor R. Petrashko at the position of the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture,” the message said.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal provided a proper submission to the parliament.

According to latifundist, in 2004-2007 Ihor Petrashko worked in Moscow, later in Kyiv representative office of Ernst&Young company; he also worked in the investment company TriykaDialogUkraine. Until 2013, he headed the corporate business department at Sberbank of Russia.

Since April 2013, he was working at Ukrlandfarming agricultural holding.

On March 4, the Verkhovna Rada appointed the new composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers.

Before that, the Verkhovna Rada has accepted the resignation of Oleksiy Honcharuk from the post of Prime Minister and his government. 353 MPs voted "for" the corresponding draft resolution No. 3158.

Later, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Denys Shmyhal as the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
