President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey "will crush the heads" of the Kurdish fighters if they do not withdraw until Tuesday evening, as BBC informs.
Both parties to the conflict accused each other in violation of the temporary truce. Ankara considers Kurdish servicemen as the terrorists and wants to create a "safe zone" buffer inside Syria. Despite the agreed ceasefire, the attacks have continued, particularly near the border town of Ras Al-Ain.
"If Kurdish fighters did not withdraw by Tuesday evening - as agreed in the ceasefire - "we will start where we left off and continue to crush the terrorists' heads," the message reads.
It is known that the Turkish President is going to have negotiations with Vladimir Putin on the next week. Erdogan added that if these negotiations do not lead to the solution of the conflict, Turkey "will implement its own plans".
