The identities of five Ukrainians perished in the result of the terrorist attack in Kabul were established; the work of the identification of two bodies continues. Serhy Pohoreltsev, the Director-General of the Directorate General for consular service reported this to Ukrayinska Pravda.
‘The death of seven citizens is confirmed. Five bodies were already identified while the work of the identification of two bodies continues as they were damaged during the fire. There are two women among the perished. I express deepest condolences to the relatives’, Pohoreltsev noted.
He added that all perished Ukrainians will be transferred to Ukraine after the finish of the identification. The surnames of the dead are not called.

As 112 International reported, a group of armed people entered InterContinental hotel, which hosted two weddings, and opened fire. The media reported 43 fatalities.
