Vice-Speaker of Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroyid, who went on hunger strike near the Presidential Administration during several days, protesting against inaction of the authorities regarding garbage disposal in Lviv, got hospitalized. This was reported to 112 Ukraine TV channel by Oleh Bereziuk, the Chair of the Parliamentary faction Samopomich Union.

According to him, Syroyid "had low blood pressure, low heart rate, low sugar and pancreatitis got worse".

"Today morning, when our medics examined us, it turned out that Oksana still had low sugar level — 2.9. Bradycardia, that is low heart rate, decreased blood pressure, pain and bad feeling came. We asked Oksana and persuaded her that it is not worth risking at low threatening rates. She agreed, and we called an ambulance," Bereziuk said.

He also noted that he feels on the verge of being below the norm.

"I feel on the verge below the norm. I walked a lot yesterday, sugar went down. I am not walking now," MP added.

As it was reported, Oksana Syroyid went on hunger strike following Oleh Bereziuk.
