After the parliamentary elections, the Humanitarian Policy Ministry based on the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Ministry of Information Policy might be created in the newly-formed Ukrainian government. This was said by Presidential Office Deputy Head Kyrylo Tymoshenko during the interview to the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency.
“We believe that there should be not only informational strategy – we speak about the humanitarian sphere. The strategy related to the Integrated Ministry is developing now, where the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Ministry of Information Policy will be included,” Tymoshenko said.
The Deputy noted that the informational policy “cannot exist on its own.”
“This is a mostly humanitarian sphere where information policy can take a great number of messages. We cannot build only the upper part. Humanitarian Policy is the attitude toward people and people’s attitude toward the government. We see the task in it. And it is needed to be disseminated in the informational style. That is why we think we should integrate these two Ministers,” Tymoshenko explained.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky supported the idea of the integration of two Ministers earlier.
