Alexander Hug, the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine met Aleksandr Zakharchenko, the Head of Donetsk People's Republic in Donetsk on November 23. He reported this at the briefing of Ukrainian Crisis Media Center.

'I can confirm that the OSCE SMM held the meeting with Mister Zakharchenko yesterday. We discussed the issue of the security of our observers and property and the watching of the OSCE SMM concerning the observation of the Minsk Agreements', Hug noted.

He did not report on any other details.

Earlier it was reported that Alexander Hug will visit Donbas from November 19 until November 25. He also planned to meet Ihor Plotnytsky, the Head of Luhansk People's Republic.

The OSCE expressed the solicitude concerning the security and living conditions of the civilians. Particularly, it was noted that thousands of people were left without electricity, gas and water supply due to the damage of the main objects of the vital infrastructure. The repair works are held for a long time but there is not always the possibility to hold the technical support. OSCE urged to draw special attention to the infrastructure due to the forthcoming of the winter.
