Earlier we reported that second president of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma would lead the delegation of this country in the Minsk trilateral talks group; he'll represent Ukraine at the session of the group on June 5.
As Zelensky's press office reported, the leader of the state met with the members of the Ukrainian delegation in the Minsk group. The officials discussed the ways to speed up the negotiation process and the necessary steps for that to happen. Among them was Kuchma who stated he would insist on the ceasefire during the harvest time in summer.
Previously, Kuchma withdrew from the Minsk talks group due to his solid age; in August 2018, he had turned 80.
