The enemy obviously continues to disrespect the international humanitarian norms. Ukrainian presidential elections
Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev complained that they still do not know who to talk with in Ukraine.
The Chief of General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Muzhenko warned that Russian special services might use election to destabilize the situation in Ukraine. Central Election Commission of Ukraine said that some observers from social organizations of the elections can cooperate with fighters in Donbas.
On March 6 it was reported that one of the presidential candidates of Ukraine Yuriy Tymoshenko was proposed almost $200,000 for his withdrawal from the elections.
Deputy State Secretary of the U.S. David Hale visits Ukraine
American Embassy to Ukraine announced the visit of U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale to Ukraine. He discussed the release of the Ukrainian sailors, who are being kept in Russia with President Petro Poroshenko.
Moreover, he noted the significance of energy issue in Ukraine and stated that this question was discussed at every meeting held during his visit.
