War in Donbas

The illegal armed units of pro-Russian militants continue shelling positions of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and the civilian infrastructure along the division line, thus rudely violating Minsk agreements and the ceasefire, which was many times offered by parties to the Minsk trilateral group.

Militants shelled ATO positions near Krasnohorivka. On Wednesday, the ATO HQ reported on their Facebook that the situation stabilized and the enemy attacks noticeably decreased.

However, Avdiivka was under fire for the whole week.

Mariinka is partially cut off from electricity due to shelling. The dense fire in Avdiivka killed 2 Ukrainian soldiers on late Thursday.

Ukrainian officers from the joint control center for ceasefire in Donbas accuse pro-Kremlin mercenaries of deliberate escalation of conflict in eastern Ukraine.
