By agreement of the Specialized Anti-Corruption prosecutors, National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detectives notified the Head of one of the departments of the President’s Office, the ex-deputy minister of culture of Ukraine and their accomplice on suspicion. “These individuals are charged with a completed attempted fraud ("Acquisition of other people's property by prior conspiracy by a group of persons on a particularly large scale"), as well as a completed attempted incitement to provide unlawful benefits to an official who is in a responsible position,” reads the message.
As we reported earlier, NABU employees detained Svitlana Kondzelya, the Director of Department for Access to Public Information at the Presidential Office. The official is charged with fraud.
