Heating season in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, was ceased due to the absence of gas, as the press office of Kramatorsk City Council reported.
“Heating supply enterprises cannot operate due to the absence of gas. Unfortunately, they had to cease the start-up process (of the heating season) because of the ban to use blue fuel,” the message says.
Andriy Pankov, Kramatorsk Mayor, prepared an appeal to the gas supply enterprise and the board of the region on settlement of the current situation.
“I understand that the situation with gas is quite difficult, but we will do everything to solve the problem as fast as possible,” Pankov said.
It was noted that the heating season in Kramatorsk began on October 16.
At the Government’s session on October 24, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated that Ukraine has accumulated enough gas reserves in the underground storages for a normal heating in 2018-2019. In addition, the Prime Minister excluded any further gas prices hikes for the population in this season.
