The court has decided to begin evidence review and gave deadline until Monday for materials to reach the court

Starobilsk district court of Luhansk region announced technical break until Monday in the case of Oleksandr Yefremov, the ex-Head of the Party of Regions faction, during the trial. This was reported by the correspondent of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

The panel of judges has determined the rule of evidence examination in this case. Prosecutors think that the accused should be questioned first, then they will interview the witnessed and review case materials. The lawyers insist on examination of written evidence, audio and video materials, and let the witnesses give their testimony afterwards.

Yefremov requires to review case materials first, as they include 17 volumes, which were not delivered to the court.

The court has ruled to begin evidence review, examination of written data and gave deadline until Monday for materials to reach the court.

The prosecutor confirmed that there are 73 witnesses in the case, those are formed and current officials. Their names are not disclosed, all of them are residing in Ukraine, thus they can be questioned.
