Healthcare Minister Viktor Lyashko believes that the reason for the low rates of Covid-19 vaccination in Ukraine is "Russian propaganda." He said this in an interview with Voice of America.

To date, 13 million Covid-19 vaccinations have been made in Ukraine. Of these, 7.5 million people received one dose, another 6 million were fully vaccinated.

At the same time, the Ministry of Health plans to vaccinate 70% of the adult population by the end of this year.

"We have a vaccine, we also have the capabilities of the healthcare system. But Russian propaganda, which disperses fakes in our country, does not allow us to move at the same pace as other European countries. We have a hybrid war, and we have to fight on all fronts. But , I think we can handle it," Lyashko said.

  • employees of the central governmental authorities and their territorial branches;
  • regional state administrations and their subdivisions;
  • workers of education institutions of all levels, regardless their kind of ownership.
