To date, 13 million Covid-19 vaccinations have been made in Ukraine. Of these, 7.5 million people received one dose, another 6 million were fully vaccinated.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health plans to vaccinate 70% of the adult population by the end of this year.
"We have a vaccine, we also have the capabilities of the healthcare system. But Russian propaganda, which disperses fakes in our country, does not allow us to move at the same pace as other European countries. We have a hybrid war, and we have to fight on all fronts. But , I think we can handle it," Lyashko said.
Meanwhile, Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry has approved the list of jobs where the workers are obliged to get vaccinated. The compulsory vaccination campaign among these people should be over within a month.
According to the law, the vaccination is compulsory for the following categories of people:
- employees of the central governmental authorities and their territorial branches;
- regional state administrations and their subdivisions;
- workers of education institutions of all levels, regardless their kind of ownership.
