In Ukraine, citizens who have undergone organ transplantation and who are constantly taking passive drugs will be recommended a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine. This was stated by the country's Chief Sanitary Doctor Ihor Kuzin during a briefing.
"If we talk in detail, the vaccine (booster dose) will be recommended to those people who have undergone organ transplantation, who constantly take passive drugs, those people who have deficiency conditions, primary or acquired," Kuzin said.
He noted that the issue of vaccination with a booster dose was considered, but no decisions have been made at the moment.
As we reported earlier, 101,331 people were vaccinated in Ukraine on October 24 as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.
75,240 people received one dose; while 26,091 were fully immunized.
8,965,694 people were vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. 7,965,692 people received the first dose; 6,989,668 people are fully immunized.
