The Health Ministry of Ukraine has renewed the list of ‘red’, ‘orange’ and ‘yellow’ zones of epidemical safety on rates of incidence with coronavirus, level of hospitalization and occupancy of hospitals. Two region regions are in the ‘red’ zone, while Kyiv stays in the ‘yellow’ zone as the ministry reported.
Thus, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions stay in the ‘red’ zone. The others in this category are Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Luhansk and Ternopil regions.
Other regions, including Kyiv, stay in the ‘yellow’ zone.
The quarantine depending on the level has started to act from February 24.
Meanwhile, the vaccination from Covid-19 has started in Ukraine on February 24. The first person to receive the vaccine was Yevhen Horenko, a resuscitator at the Cherkasy Regional Hospital.
Despite President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that CoviShield is ‘one of the best vaccines’, the majority of medics of Oleksandrivsky hospital of Kyiv, who work with Covid-19 patients, refused to vaccinate with it.
Today, the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported seven ‘unfavorable events’ after the first vaccination with CoviShield.
