The Ministry of Health of Ukraine monitors which family doctors call their declarants for vaccination against Covid-19, thus helping the vaccination campaign, and who does not, Minister of Healthcare Viktor Lyashko stated during a briefing.
He noted that today, the Ministry of Health has the opportunity to monitor the number of vaccinated among those who signed a declaration with a family doctor.
"Relevant data are displayed on the dashboard of the National Health Service of Ukraine. Thus, we immediately see whether a certain doctor works with his declarants, whether he calls them for vaccinations," Lyashko said.
The Minister noted that over 78% of Ukrainians have already signed a declaration with family doctors. Since the beginning of the coronavirus vaccination campaign, the National Health Insurance Fund has paid UAH 397 million ($15.2 million) to medical institutions for vaccinations.
As it was reported earlier, there are 10.3 million doses of coronavirus vaccines in Ukraine today. Vaccinations can be performed at vaccination points or in mass vaccination centers where doctors who have signed agreements with the National Health Service of Ukraine work.
On November 9, 267,401 people in Ukraine are vaccinated against Covid-19. 150,663 people received one dose, 116,738 people were fully immunized.
