The Ministry of Healthcare is developing a list of professions that will definitely need to be vaccinated against Covid, the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin announced during a briefing.
“Currently, the Ministry of Healthcare, on behalf of the government, is developing a list of professions, industries and organizations whose employees will be subject to mandatory preventive vaccination against coronavirus. It includes employees of educational institutions, employees of central executive bodies and their structural units, and local governments. We hope that next week we will be able to publish and present a draft of such a document,” Kuzin said.
In addition, the Ministry of Healthcare noted that the rate of vaccination in Ukraine over the past few weeks has declined somewhat. The current level of vaccination in Ukraine is mainly 107 thousand vaccinations per day.
“Vaccination rates are currently increasing, 22% have been added to the first dose of vaccination last week, and a resumption of vaccination rates is also expected during September and October. As of yesterday, 80% doctors have been vaccinated with the first dose and 63% were vaccinated with the second; 62% educators were vaccinated with the first dose, and 42% with two doses,” Kuzin added.
As it was reported earlier, as of September 24, there are about 3,000 classes on self-isolation in Ukraine.
