According to Kuzin, the cessation of public transport has a strong impact on the economy and the mobility of people, and in particular, does not give any additional epidemiological impact.
"Therefore, the main recommendation is stricter control over compliance with anti-epidemiological requirements during transportation, limiting the number of people using public transport, and adding the reserve transport to the ones already running rather than terminating its operation," Kuzin said.
The issue of stopping or functioning of public transport is being reviewed by a local commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies.
