Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov announced the improvement of the situation with the coronavirus in Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. He said about it at a briefing on Tuesday, April 6.
He noted that the situation was critical in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions in early March.
The minister said that these regions were the first to enter the "red" quarantine zone. If the situation with Covid-19 there completely stabilizes, the three areas will be able to leave the "red" zone and loosen quarantine restrictions.
"The number of patients has significantly decreased in Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Chernivtsi regions. We plan these areas to start to come out of the "red" level of epidemic risk of COVID-19 spread in coming days in case of providing full stabilization," he said.
As it was reported, Zaporizhia will tighten quarantine restrictions from April 3 in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
