“I understand Kateryna’s father. He has lost his only daughter, whom he loved with all his heart. Time can not heal such a loss. He is fighting as everyone would fight for the justice! However, while searching for justice, it is important not to affect innocent people. And as hard this is, one has to try not to respond to provocations of the others,” Gordeyev wrote.
He noted that “analyzing the last informational flows,” including those with his name, he made sure that “parent’s grief is being used for political manipulations by the villains, who are hiding.”
“I would like to disappoint them. The case will be finished. We will direct all our efforts for the search of the guilty. I am open for help. I completely agree that such terrible things should not take place in Kherson region and remain unpunishable,” he concluded.
On November 4, it became known that Kateryna Handziuk died aged 34. She was doused with sulphuric acid in July this year. According to preliminary information, the death was caused by thrombus detachment.
Besides, the official reason for the death of Handziuk was specified. It was multiple organ failure and chemical burns.
On November 12, the court arrested suspect in Handziuk case Igor Pavlovsky, as Ukraine’s Security Service Head Vasyl Hrytsak said.
