The representatives of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) came with raids to Deputy Head of Kherson Regional State Administration Yevgen Ryshchuk dismissed from the post earlier, as he reported on his Facebook page.
“I started my morning from flying to Kyiv and in half an hour I found out that today my house is being raided by SBU. Moreover, it is being conducted with violation of all the regulations as people who carry out a search are not defined in the court order, but this is another story, meanwhile they try to link me to Handziuk case,” Ryshchuk said.
SBU confirmed information about the raids. Olena Hitlyanska, Press Secretary of Security Service, confirmed information about the searches.
At the same time, Yevhen Ryshchuk reminded that earlier, the representatives of the Prosecutor General Office claimed an absence of evidence on his involvement in Handziuk’s murder.
“Moreover, I see that the elections began, and I’ve never thought that the name of a girl who died, will be used so cynically in a fight with opponents on the elections. We have Mr. Bulyuk who thinks that he is a prince of Skadovsky region and district No. 186, he hinted and threatened me multiple times, asked me to leave the district. Mr. Bulyuk, I will not leave the district, I will be working there, I hope to win there, I hope to help people,” Ryshchuk said.
He urged the President, SBU, Prosecutor, Minister of Foreign Affairs to “stop this outrage” and “not to appoint the guilty”.
It was noted that the father of the died claimed the involvement of Yevhen Ryshchuk to attack at Kateryna Handziuk.
Some activists insist that Kherson official Ryshchuk might be involved in Handziuk murder.
