Ukrainian cyber experts have found out how hackers were able to attack the website of the National Police. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
It is known that the attackers gained access to the police website using the malware program.
"The investigation into the hacking of the National Police website continues. However, experts have already established how the attackers implemented the malicious programs that hacked the website. We already understand what measures should be taken to prevent this from happening. We also share our experience with colleagues on how to avoid such problems," the statement informs.
As it was reported earlier, hackers attacked website of Ukraine's National Police and spread fake information about an alleged accident at the Rivne Nuclear power plant. It said that the evacuation of local residents from the city of Varash had allegedly begun.
