Security firm’s car was shelled in Dnipro city on January 25, one man killed, another two injured as a result. This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Dnipro region.

The information about the shooting was reported to the police control room of the Joint police office in Dnipro city in the evening on January 25. Citizens reported that some unknown people were shooting at the car of a security firm on Academic Lazaryan Street and there were victims.

Policemen found a car of the security company on the scene with a dead body inside and two wounded guardians in bulletproof vests. In the result of the attack the man died at the scene, the guardians were heavily wounded. They were taken to the hospital and provided with medical assistance. Their state is stable now.

“It was found that the attackers took the bag with a big sum of money, which belonged to the dead person. The man conducted a business within his lifetime. Previously he had already suffered an armed attack, that’s why he engaged services of the private security company. The bodyguards followed him to the office and then back home every day,” police reports.

Amber alert is announced. The search of the felons is underway.

The criminal case on intentional homicide is initiated. The felons face 10 to 15 years in prison or the life-term imprisonment and confiscation.

Earlier it was reported that there was a gunfire in Odesa, no casualties were reported. Three men tried to kidnap a man, his body guard impeded.
