The Security Service of Ukraine conducts a search in the shopping mall Gulliver in Kyiv. This was announced by the Spokesperson of the Security Service Elena Hitlyanska, reports Ukrainian News.

"Investigative actions are conducted pursuant to the court decision," she said. The search was connected to the investigation of the embezzlement of the Myhailivskyi bank.

The work of the mall is not being blocked, according to her.

The documentation is being checked to ensure payments to the depositors of the Myhailivskyi bank," the news agency reported, citing a source in law enforcement bodies.

“The owner of this mall, "Try O ' Ltd. has no relation to the Myhailivskyi bank and "Ekosipan " and therefore the search of the mall violates ownership rights, which will be protected,” the Head of communications department of Gulliver Tetiana Atadzhanova said.  

Earlier it was reported that Odesa will strengthen streets patrolling after shooting at the mall. The Interior Ministry Academy cadets and community members will guard order on the streets along with the patrol police.
