Groysman to run for snap elections to Verkhovna Rada with his own Ukrainian strategy party

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated about his intentions to run for the parliament with his own party “Ukrainian strategy”, whose leader is Groysman. He said in the interview with TV channel Ukraine.  

“This political force will be named “Ukrainian strategy” and our strategy is powerful Ukraine and well off citizens,” Groysman said.

According to the Prime Minister, he is the leader of the party, and he wants to create such a team, members of which will have the experience and the understanding of what the country needs.

Groysman pointed out that his political force will not unite with anyone.

As we reported earlier, on May 24, the electoral process kicked off in Ukraine; early parliamentary elections are scheduled for July 21, 2019.

According to the Ukrainian legislation, the electoral process of snap elections begins on the next day after the President’s decree on early termination of the mandate of Verkhovna Rada and appointment of the new elections is published. Therefore, the electoral process starts on May 24, without the Central Commission making any decisions.
